The difference between belt filter press and belt vacuum filter

      The belt filter press has the characteristics of large processing capacity and continuous production. As a supporting equipment for sewage treatment, it can filter and dewater suspended solids and sediment after air flotation treatment, and press them into mud cakes to achieve the purpose of preventing and controlling secondary pollution.Belt type filter press can also be used for paper pulp concentration, food industry extraction pressure drying and other processes.The belt vacuum filter takes the press cloth as the filtering medium, which makes full use of the material gravity and vacuum suction to realize solid-liquid separation. The press cloth of the belt vacuum filter is laid on the belt and runs synchronously with it. The belt contacts with the annular friction belt of the vacuum sliding table and forms a water seal.The slurry is evenly distributed on the press cloth by the distributor.

When the vacuum chamber is connected to the vacuum system, a vacuum suction filter area is formed on the rubber belt. The filtrate passes through the filter cloth and collects through the transverse groove on the rubber belt and enters the vacuum chamber through the hole. The solid material is intercepted on the press cloth to form a filter cake.

The liquid entering the vacuum chamber is discharged through the steam separator. With the movement of the rubber belt, the filter cake set has formed and enters the filter cake washing area and washing and drying area successively. The press cloth is separated from the rubber belt and the filter cake is discharged at the discharge roller.
