      Analysis of common failures of belt filter press and solutions:

1. Malfunction: The roller can’t rotate.

Reason: The bearing is damaged.

Solution: Replace the bearing.

2. Failure: The filter cake has a high moisture content.

Reason: Insufficient flocculation, or insufficient strain on the strainer, or fast speed of the filter press, or the strainer is not cleaned cleanly.

Solution: Adjust the mixing ratio of sludge and chemical solution, adjust the tension of the filter screen and the main drive speed, and check the cleaning device.

     3.Failure: Mud leakage on both sides of the extrusion section.

Reason: The feed volume is too large, or the flocculation effect is not good, or the water permeability of the filter is not timely enough.

Solution: Adjust the sludge valve switch, adjust the flocculation effect and the concentration of flocculent liquid, and check whether the cleaning device is working properly.

4. Failure: Too much suspended matter in press filtrate or cleaning water.

Reason: The permeable gap of the filter is too large or the flocculation is insufficient.

Solution: Replace the filter screen, check whether the flocculant is selected properly, and whether the dissolved concentration is too high or low.

     5.Malfunction: The filter is not cleaned.

Reason: The nozzle is blocked, or the water pressure is not enough, or the flocculation effect is not good.

Solution: dredge the nozzle, replace the cleaning water pump, and check the flocculation effect.

6. Poor sludge flocculation effect.

Reason: The mixing ratio of sludge and flocculent liquid is incorrect, the flocculating liquid concentration is too low, and the sludge concentration is too high.

Solution: Check the concentration of the flocculant, adjust the dosage, and change the variety and quality of the flocculant.
