Introduction to belt filter press

         Belt filter press is a kind of cassava dregs processing equipment that is imported from abroad and successfully developed through digestion and absorption. It can continuously filter a large amount of sludge. The product is made of high-strength materials with large processing capacity and dehydration. High efficiency, long service life and other outstanding characteristics, are widely used in environmental management in various industries. The bearings are equipped with a long service life. At the same time, it uses high-quality filter belts to ensure the performance and quality of the filter press. Type belt filter press is divided into three steps for filtering and dewatering functions:
1. Gravity dehydration zone
After the sludge is pumped into the sludge mixing tank and mixed with the polymer flocculant, the fine suspended particles in the sludge are bridged by the polymer flocculant to form a larger gel plume (Floc). Then, the particles overflow from the upper end of the stirring tank into the automatic distribution device of the dewatering machine in the manner of gravity flow, so that the rubber feather sludge is evenly distributed on the filter cloth in the gravity dewatering zone.

The function of the gravity concentration dewatering zone is to allow most of the free water of the rubber feather sludge to be discharged by gravity through the mesh of the filter cloth to increase the slurry concentration and stabilize the characteristics of the rubber feather sludge, which is conducive to the subsequent pressing and dewatering operations.
2. Pressure dehydration zone
After the sludge enters the pressure dehydration zone from the gravity dehydration zone, the upper and lower filter cloths begin to gradually pressurize the sludge to dewater.3. Pressurized dehydration zone
The sludge moves with the filter cloth into the pressurized dewatering zone. Between the 6 vertical rollers, the diameter of the rollers increases from larger to smaller, and the pressure gradually increases. The upper and lower filter cloths are placed on different rollers. During the change of the up and down position of the filter cloth, shear force is generated on the sludge, and the capillary combined water in the rubber feather sludge is squeezed out to produce a relatively dry sludge cake.
