The conversion of a macromolecule to a low molecular oxide by degradation

      The main purpose of sludge anaerobic digestion in the treatment of printing and dyeing sludge is to convert macromolecular materials into low molecular oxides through degradation.

At the same time, the dewatering properties of sludge can be improved, and the content of pathogenic bacteria and odor-producing substances can be reduced.

There are two commonly used methods of anaerobic digestion: medium temperature and high temperature. The commonly used medium temperature anaerobic digestion time is 20 d, and the theoretical degradation rate of organic matter is 83%, and the theoretical degradation rate of organic matter is 88% for 30 d.

However, the actual degradation rate is much lower than the theoretical degradation rate due to the influence of short flow, adding method and toxic substances, generally only about 60% of the theoretical degradation rate.

Therefore, in the actual treatment process, when the degradation rate of organic matter reaches 40%~50%, or when the content of organic acids in the digested sludge is less than 300 mg/L, the digested sludge can be considered to be stable.
