The quality of the sludge treated by the belt filter press is determined by the dosage

        When the belt filter press treats sludge and sewage, the first thing that cannot be separated from the sludge is the separation of sludge and water. In order to achieve good results in the separation of sludge and water, it is necessary to use reagents such as polyacrylamide, because polyacrylamide has flocculation, precipitation and other functions! In the process of sewage treatment equipment, the equipment needs to be measured. Dosing is an important part of the sewage treatment process. Whether the dosage is reasonable is the key to determining the water quality after processing the belt filter press.


Different water bodies require different dosages. The amount of various medicinal muds must be determined according to the sample experiment and the composition and concentration of the influent water.
Generally speaking, the amount of strong acid and strong alkali aqueous solution should be able to ensure that the pH of the water is 6-9; the amount of destabilizing agent is about 5-15% of the processing capacity. The amount of coalescing agent is about 0.5 to 1% of the processing volume. The amount of reducing agent is about 0.5 to 2% of the processing volume. The amount of a suitable fast settling agent is about 1 to 2% of the processing volume. Naturally, such data information can only be displayed as a reference.
Belt filter presses rely more on quenching and tempering. If the dosage is insufficient and the adjustment effect is not good, the capillary water in the sludge cannot be converted into free water and cannot be removed in the gravity zone. Therefore, the sludge entering the low pressure zone from the mold zone is still fluid and cannot be squeezed. On the contrary, if the dosage is too large, it will increase the processing cost, and more importantly, because the viscosity of the sludge increases, it is easy to block the filter belt. For mixed municipal sewage sludge, when using cationic PAM, the amount of dry sludge is usually 1-10kg/t, which can be determined through experiments or adjusted repeatedly during operation.
Therefore, the key to the treatment of sludge and sewage with a belt filter press is the amount of chemical reagents added!
