Papermaking wastewater treatment

         Wastewater characteristics: in each process of pulping and papermaking, the wastewater has large amount of water, high indicators of suspended solids, COD and ammonia nitrogen, and different material properties and concentrations of organic pollutants.

         Straw and wood pulp are widely used as raw materials in China’s paper industry. The production of pulping and papermaking generally consists of pulping, pulp washing, bleaching and papermaking. There are alkali pulping, chemical mechanical pulping and mechanical pulping in papermaking industry. According to different pulping methods, different raw materials, different pulping yield, different papermaking varieties and whether there is chemical recovery, the occurrence and discharge of pollutants are very different, but they basically contain a large number of suspended solids, BOD, COD and some toxic substances, which are usually treated by the combination of physicochemical and biological methods

         Treatment method: We used electric floatation as enhanced pretreatment to effectively remove the suspended solids and most of COD, constructed the anaerobic aerobic collaborative treatment process with microorganism as the core, realized the low-cost degradation of organic matters, and used three-phase fluidized bed micro electrolysis advanced oxidation (MEOS patent technology of our company), membrane separation and other advanced treatment technologies to achieve effective treatment and reuse.
