The belt sludge filter press cannot press the sludge and the low sludge concentration is the main reason;

The sludge concentration is often referred to as the sludge solid content rate. The sludge solid content is less than 1%. The direct mechanical sludge dewatering effect is not ideal, and the demand for flocculants increases. If the domestic sludge or viscous industrial sludge with a concentration of less than 1% enters the belt filter press, it will cause sludge leakage, and the sludge cannot be pressed out, and the treatment efficiency is low.

The traditional method is to increase sludge thickening in civil construction.

The centrifugal sludge thickener solves this problem well. After being concentrated by the sludge thickener, the sludge concentration can be increased to about 3.5%-11%, which is very suitable for entering the belt filter press for the filter press dehydration process to avoid The situation of sludge leakage caused by too low sludge concentration. It has been widely used in some sewage with large amount of sewage and low solid content of sludge, such as domestic sewage.

The flocculation effect of sludge is not ideal.

Belt filter press dehydrator is more dependent on quenching and tempering. If the dosage is insufficient and the conditioning effect is not good, the capillary water in the sludge cannot be converted into free water and is removed in the gravity zone, so the sludge entering the low pressure zone from the mold zone is still fluid and cannot be squeezed. . On the contrary, if the dosage is too large, one is to increase the processing cost, and more importantly, because the viscosity of the sludge increases, it is very easy to cause the filter belt to be blocked. For mixed municipal sewage sludge, when using cationic PAM, the dosage of dry sludge is generally 1-10kg/t, which can be determined by experiment or adjusted repeatedly during operation.

The filter cloth is aging or improper selection.

There are more than dozens of filter belts used for sludge dewatering. The porosity, water permeability, air permeability and woven texture of each filter belt are different. The sludge thickening net and the pressure filter net are different. Choosing the right sludge dewatering net can increase the moisture content of sludge sludge cake and improve the operating efficiency of the filter press. Under special circumstances, the relationship between mud cake output and effluent water quality should also be combined.

The selection of filter cloth should fully consider the nature of the sludge, combined with the water permeability and porosity of the sludge dewatering network. Such as: viscosity, water permeability and so on. Poor selection of filter cloth directly leads to high water content of the mud cake, mud running, and mud leakage. The yield of mud is reduced.
