Solve common problems in daily production of belt filter press

     Reduced solid recovery
1. The belt speed is too large, which will cause the material to run out in the extrusion area, so the belt speed should be reduced appropriately.
2. If the tension is too large, it will cause the material to run out of the extrusion area, and cause the local sludge to penetrate the filter belt and lose with the filtrate, so the tension should be reduced.
The solid content of the filter cake drops
1. When the mud quality changes and the dehydration performance declines, the experiment should be re-tested to make sure the appropriate dosage. Sometimes it is due to the unsuitable concentration of the dispensed, the concentration of the dispensed is too high, and the flocculant is not easy to dissolve sufficiently. Although the dosage is sufficient, the conditioning effect is not good. Sometimes it is because the location of the dosing point is unreasonable, leading to too long or too short flocculation time. The above conditions should stop the experiment and be adjusted.

2. The belt speed is too high. If the belt speed is too high, the mud cake will become thinner and cause the solid content to drop. The belt speed should be reduced in time. Generally, the thickness of the mud cake should be 5~10mm.
3. The tension of the filter belt is too small. At this time, sufficient squeezing force and shearing force cannot be guaranteed, so that the solid content is reduced.
4. Filter belt infarction. After the filter belt is blocked, the water can not be filtered out, so that the solid content is reduced. The operation should be stopped and the filter belt should be washed.
Severe filter belt infarction
1. If the flushing is not thorough, the flushing time or flushing water pressure should be increased.
2. The tension of the filter belt is too high, so the tension should be appropriately reduced.
3. Overdosing. Excessive dosage of PAM will increase the viscosity and often infarct the filter cloth. In addition, PAM that is sufficiently dissolved can also easily infarct the filter belt.
4. The sand content in the mud is too large, and it is easy to block the filter cloth. The operation control of the sewage pre-treatment system should be strengthened.

Filter belt slipping
1. If the mud is overloaded, the load should be reduced.
2. The tension of the filter belt is too small, so increase the tension.
3. If the roller is damaged, it should be repaired or replaced in time.
The filter belt often runs off the track
1. The mud inlet is uneven, and the cloth spread on the filter belt is uneven. The mud inlet should be adjusted, repaired or replaced with a flat mud installation.
2. Partial damage or excessive wear of the rolling cylinder should be inspected and replaced.
3. The relative positions of the rolling cylinders are not balanced and should be checked and adjusted.
4. The deviation correction installation is not flexible and should be checked and repaired.
Why can’t I filter the hard material?
The filter contains hard and bulky solid particles, which will also cause the filter plate of the filter press to be easily damaged. During the filtration process, such hard and bulky solid particles will accumulate in the filter chamber. With more and more solid particles, all kinds of hard particles are piled up together, and the filter press provides a filter plate. Everyone knows that the force of the filter cake squeezes each other. In addition, the hard particles are unevenly distributed in the filter chamber, which will also cause the filter plate of the filter press to be easily damaged.

The belt filter press is damaged, resulting in uneven force on the filter plate, and the pressure of the filter press itself crushes the filter plate. The damage mentioned here is only in the process of using the filter press, the filter plate inadvertently deforms the filter plate, is uneven, or the edge of the filter plate and the boss are not different in height, or the edge is directly worn. The above-mentioned damaged filter plates are not easy to see. If such a filter plate with an undamaged appearance is used together with other filter plates, the equipment will provide a powerful filter plate during the operation of the filter press. The pressure and time are also very long, so it will inevitably cause a large number of other filter plates or long-term damage.
