The improvement of the filter press enables unmanned operation

        The plate and frame filter press consists of alternately arranged filter plates and filter frames to form a set of filter chambers. There are grooves on the surface of the filter plate, and the protruding parts are used to support the filter cloth. There are through holes on the edges and corners of the filter frame and the filter plate, which form a complete channel after assembly, which can pass in the suspension liquid, washing water and draw out the filtrate. There are handles on both sides of the board and the frame to support on the beam, and the board and the frame are pressed by a pressing device. The filter cloth between the plate and the frame acts as a sealing gasket. The suspension hydraulic pressure is injected into the filter chamber by the feed pump, and the filter residue is formed on the filter cloth until the filter chamber is filled. The filtrate passes through the filter cloth and flows along the grooves of the filter plate to the corner channels of the plate frame and is discharged in a concentrated manner.

After filtering, the filter residue can be washed with clean washing water. After washing, compressed air is sometimes introduced to remove the remaining washing liquid. Then turn on the filter press to remove the filter residue, clean the filter cloth, re-press the plate and frame, and start the next round of work cycle.
The plate and frame filter press is a stand-alone automation equipment. Install the power distribution cabinet on site, and the equipment itself is equipped with an electric control box. Operation steps of coal slime system production equipment: When the torque value of the slime thickener reaches the set requirement, the dispatching room starts the thickener underflow pump to transport the slime to the slime bucket in the filter press workshop (filter press feeder bucket) . Each filter press needs to be equipped with an operator, and operate the corresponding buttons on the control box according to the process sequence of the equipment to complete the pressing, feeding, air intake, back blowing, pulling, discharging, and pressing of the filter press Each operation link of the company completes each filter press cycle. This equipment is an automatic equipment integrating electricity, liquid and gas, with many operating links and high requirements for the operation level of the operators.

The problems in the field use include: the feed pressure of the filter press, the pressure of the hydraulic cylinder and other important information can not be displayed in the dispatch room. (1) The pressure display of the on-site feed pipe is inaccurate; (2) The operation status of the filter press’s filtrate tank and whether the filter plate is sprayed cannot be checked by the dispatching room; (3) The filter press is in operation during operation. There is a danger with the inspectors; (4) The operating status of the equipment varies greatly with different operators.


Improvement of plate and frame filter press:
(1) Increase the communication module, and realize the link between the scene and the dispatching room through the Ethernet communication to the dispatching room computer;
(2) Increase the analog quantity module to realize the transmission of analog quantity data;
(3) The pressure transmitter is added to the feed pipe of the filter press to solve the false alarm signal caused by the large shaking of the pressure gauge pointer due to the vibration of the plant during the feed; the upper program increases the delay or calculates the average value through programming, etc. Means to filter false positive signals;
(4) Pressure transmitter is added to the oil cylinder of the filter press to increase alarm protection;
(5) A liquid level probe is installed on the upper part of the filtrate water collection tank, and the completion of the feeding is controlled by the on-off of the filtrate water to the probe;
(6) A camera is added to the upper part of the filter press equipment to facilitate the dispatcher to monitor the working status of the filter press (mainly to monitor whether the plate is pressed during feeding, whether the material is sprayed, the filtrate water flow, and whether the pull plate is normal);
(7) Increase the protection of the falling plate (the filter plate pressed by the plate is pulled up with a wire rope, and the wire rope is connected with a travel switch, and the wire rope will alarm when the filter plate is dropped or tilted) and personal safety protection (at the feeding hose and hydraulic station) An infrared sensor is added to the oil pipe to prevent workers from approaching the dangerous area of ​​plate pressure);
(8) A monitoring interface for filter press production and operation is set up in the dispatch room. The screen shows the working status of the plate pressure and the status of each electro-pneumatic valve, such as alarm records (historical query) and “process parameters”, “alarm parameters”, “last feeding time”, “number of plate arrangements”, etc. . At the same time, a voice prompt function and an “emergency stop” button and a “pause” button have been added.


The improved use effect of the plate and frame filter press:
(1) The automation of the equipment operation has been greatly improved through the technical transformation and improvement of the above process links of the equipment;
(2) As the amount of slime in the system increases, the torque of the slime thickener reaches the set parameter, and the underflow pump of the thickener is automatically started to transport the slime to the filter press feeding bucket;
(3) When the liquid level of the filter press feed barrel meets the feed requirements, the plate and frame filter press is automatically started;
(4) A series of actions of the filter press, such as pressing, feeding, air intake, pressing, exhausting, pulling apart, discharging, pressing, etc., fully realize automatic operation;
(5) During the production and operation process, the dispatcher can watch the camera to know the on-site status in time, including whether the water level in the filtrate tank is high and low, and the working status of the plate pressure is normal. You can also monitor the operating status of the entire filter press through the operating parameters of the host computer monitoring interface. When a fault occurs during operation, the dispatcher can know it through voice prompts, or find it through the camera, and notify the maintenance personnel to deal with the fault in time;
(6) There is no need to set up special operators at the production site, which realizes the unmanned operation and operation of the equipment, and only requires inspection personnel for daily inspection and maintenance.
